The Moss Farm Circle is constructed from granite boulders and in the center lies a burial cairn. The cairn is considered to be of a later date, but both are from the Bronze Age (2000-1500 B.C.). There are at least 12 boulders in the circle. This is an unexcavated circle and therefore nothing in known about the possible contents of the cairn.
The cairn material has be used for other purposes such as building dykes and other structures. The stones were easily quarried but left the circle disturbed.
