Ri Cruin is a Bronze Age cairn. It has three cists. Two can be seen from the photo above (southern side) while the third is evident in the photo below (northern side). The southern cist has seven axe heads carved in the one end. This cairn has been excavated at least three, in 1870, 1929 and 1936. The whole cairn is approximately 60 feet in diameter.
