This is a Class I Pictish stone. Until 1991, the stone rested in its original location in a field. It was moved to the Highland Council Headquarters in Inverness to provide protection from weather and vandalism in a joint venture between Historic Scotland and the Highland Regional Council. It has a fine looking boar carving with a much fainter mirror case.

The photos have been touched up to bring out the carvings.
