Hunting Tower is two family towers that have been joined. Stories are told that the towers were built by brothers who had joint guardianship of the surrounding lands. Much later, around the 17th century, the buildings were joined to create a single manor home.
There were several rooms which still had parts of wall plastering and the above picture is of the ceiling in one room.
