This is a class I stone that has been reused as a cross slab. The symbols on the unseen side include the snake, salmon and the mirror. This stone is set up in a garden next to the church. In the lower right hand corner are two of the more familiar Pict symbols. The lower left corner has two warriors carrying axes and possibly a coat of arms above their heads. The upper corners have mythical creatures carved in them, on the left is the griffin while on the right is a centaur. |
