In the Tourist Information shops, we found a series of books for local areas. These books have information on the local folklore, history and walking paths. Very nice books! Without our book, we would not have been able to find Dun a'Bhuilg.
Dun a'Bhuilg (Dunvulaig) apparently means Fortress of the Quiver. The fairy people, Daione Sidhe, were said to have inhabited this fortress on a hill. There is almost no evidence of any structures, but it is a great walk and the view is astounding.
