As you can see, not much remains of this 15th century keep. It belonged to the Cheynes in the 14th century and was passed to the Sutherlands then to the Oliphants. In 1606 it was purchased by the Earl of Caithness (a Sinclair)
There was a keep and long courtyard. Access was by wooden planks across the small crevice.
