The L-plan tower house from the courtyard. The entrance is in the stair tower seen here in the center. A corbelled parapet surrounds the top of the main block. Atop the stair tower is a two-storey, crowstep-gabled watchroom with its own parapet.
The tower seen from the opposite direction. The tower has three stories plus an attic and was built in the late fifteenth century by Sir Andrew Murray. The property is held by the Earl of Mansfield and is in the care of Historic Scotland.
